I know I am a living system because I am made up of organic and inorganic molecules, I am part of the planets biosphere, I can reproduce, and I have the capacity to move.
Biophysics is important to Chinese Medicine because it can bring more westerners into the realm of Chinese healing. Sometimes Westerner's need "proof" that something works before they try it or really give it a chance. I think the more biophysical tests we do on acupuncture, the more it can become a mainstream medium to healing.
